[Latest Update]: On Monday, August 25th, Governor Jerry Brown signed the slimmer portion of the California Dream Act into law during a visit to Los Angeles. Undocumented students are thankful that AB130 will be enacted into law. Now the work continues to move the more substantial portion of the CA Dream Act (AB131) out of ‘suspense’ in the Senate Appropriations Committee and sent over to the Senate floor and then to the Governor’s desk.
Please call the following 9 State Senators and demand that they support AB 131, take it out of suspense, and send it to Gov. Brown's desk. (Sample calling script below.)
